Tricounty Rural Electric Cooperative extends a heartfelt thank you to the more than 600 members and their families who joined the co-op on Saturday, July 19, for the annual Member Appreciation Day at Sauder Village.
"This was a record-breaking attendance, and we could not be happier,” said CEO Brett Perkins. “It was a joy to celebrate our members and their families by stepping back in time and exploring over 200 years of Ohio's history together. The smiles, conversations, and shared experiences made this event a true highlight of the year for our cooperative.”
Members received free admission to the village and "Sauder Bucks" to spend at the Doughbox Bakery, Barn Restaurant, Quilt Shop, General Store, and more. From strolling through the historic village and enjoying the 1920s Main Street to sampling local treats and watching live demonstrations, the day was filled with fun, learning, and connection.
"We're especially grateful to everyone who stopped by the Tricounty registration table and took the time to meet our board of trustees and staff,” commented Perkins. “Your feedback, questions, and warm conversations reminded us why we do what we do — to serve and support the incredible communities that make up our cooperative."
The co-op thanks all members for being part of the Tricounty REC family. Members can stay connected at www.tricountyelectriccoop.coop for upcoming events and cooperative news.
