The Tricounty Board of Trustees presented four scholarship awards at its April meeting.

Erica Rufenacht and Connor Sunderman were awarded $850 scholarships. Erica, a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School, is the daughter of Doug and Laura Rufenacht of rural Grand Rapids. Connor, is the son of David and Pamela Sunderman of rural Malinta, He is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School. Both Erica and Connor represented Tricounty in the Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives statewide competition. They both garnered fifth place in their division and each won an additional $1,500 scholarship from OREC.

Kaitlyn Krueger and Michael Huber received $550 scholarship awards. Kaitlyn is the daughter of Stephen Krueger and Mary Beth McConnell. Kaitlyn is a graduate of Liberty Center High School. Michael is the son of Larry and Jennifer Huber of rural Napoleon and a graduate of Liberty Center High School.
